Donnington School educates children between the ages of 3 and 11. We are a one-form entry school. Our current capacity is 240. We also have Little Donnington Playgroup.

Applications for admission to the September 2017 Reception class is handled by Brent Admissions. To apply for a place in the Nursery 2017 class please contact the School office. The closing date for application to either class closes on January 2017 by 3:30 pm

Nursery – three to four-year-old children (part-time)
Reception – four to five-year-old children (full-time)
Key Stage 1 (Infants) – five to seven year old children (Years 1 and 2)
Key Stage 2 (Juniors) – seven to eleven-year-old children (Years 3, 4, 5, and 6)

At Donnington we follow the Brent LEA guidelines for admissions (www.brent.gov.uk/admissions). This entry criteria is based on: (please also see the full application form)

1. Children ‘looked after’ by the London Borough of Brent (Young People in Public Care)
2. Special/Social Needs (Documented by a Consultant or Senior Social Worker) and
supported with a Statement of Special Educational Needs.
3. Sibling connection – brothers or sisters already attending Donnington.
4. Residence in the catchment area.
5. Applicants outside the catchment area.

Application forms for Nursery are available from the School Office and a list of the admissions criteria we use. All other admissions are adminsitered by Brent Council at Brent Admissions,Brent Civic Center, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ. You can also apply on line. Visits to the School by prospective parents can be arranged by appointment.

Please note that gaining a Nursery place does not guarantee a Reception place the following year.
