Hello Year 2,
I hope that everybody had a nice break and is keeping safe. I am missing you all so much and I cannot wait to see you all again soon. Have you been keeping a diary of what has been going on? I have, I really enjoy completing that piece of writing each day. If you haven’t started already today is the perfect day to begin!
Well done to all the children who have already signed up to Showbie and have been very busy completing some amazing work for me.
If you haven’t signed up yet you can find instructions below.
Again, I will be marking the work that you complete on Showbie and giving you feedback. Remember you can take pictures of the amazing work you do at home and upload it so that I can see it too!
Try your best to read every day and to practise your times tables. You can practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s each day at home.
Since we haven’t been able to go outside as much as we normally do I have been following Joe Wick’s PE lessons every day to keep me active. I think it would be fantastic if you did this too! https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1
It would also be wonderful if you could keep practising your singing. Year 2 is full of such beautiful singers, you can find all of our favourite songs to sing on YouTube like A million dreams, Roar and Your Song. Maybe you can learn a new song and we can sing it when we get back to school.
Here are some links to help you with your learning.
Take care, be kind and keep smiling,
Ms McCann
