  We invited lots of lovely ladies to have lunch with us today. Our busy mums and nans took time out of their schedules to come and eat with their children.

• Red Nose Day

  Friday was Red Nose Day and we had lots of fun while raising money for charity. We skipped, we hopped, we jumped and we wore red of course.

  To celebrate British Science Week, Donnington School held a Science Fair!

   

  Each class had a project which they presented and 2 professors were selected from each class.

• Breakfast @ Donnington

  Our Breakfast Club has been running for 2 weeks now. Please sign up via IRIS ParentMail or ask at the school office if you would like your child to attend.

   

  We open for breakfast at 7:45am and the current charge is £2.50 per day.

   

  For children in receipt of free school meals sign up for four days, Monday - Thursday, and Friday is free.

   

  The children have a choice

  of toast with jam or spread

  cereal or porridge

  and fruit

   

  They can either play games or do some of their home learning.

  We are working alongside Magic Breakfast to provide a wider variety of breakfast choices. We will keep you updated.

  

• Christmas at Donnington

  We’ve been having a fabulous time in the run-up to the holidays. The children worked hard on their productions and both the Key Stage 1 and Early Years and Key Stage 2  performances were well attended.

  It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers.
  Thank you for your support.

   

  We also had Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas lunch but haven’t had our parties yet….

• Maths - Parents' Workshop

  Join us on Friday 25th November, for our parents' workshop on how to help your child with maths at home. 

  

• Brent Girls' Football Festival

  Donnington's Year 3/4 girls' football team took part in the Brent Girl's Football Festival on Friday 11th November and came second in their group. They did not lose a game. We are bursting with pride!!
