School Administrator/Welfare Assistant - Starting January 2025 

Salary: scale 4    £24,294  -£25,979                          

Hours: 35hrs per week   Term time only + 1 week (8.00am to 4.00pm) Term time Only

Closing Date:    Monday 4th November 2024, 9am

Interview Date:  Monday 11th November 2024

Start Date: Monday 6th January 2025

 

We require someone who:

 

  • Can communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils and visitors
  • Remains calm and positive under pressure, is flexible, adaptable and able to multi-task
  • Has a good working knowledge of SIMS and who is able to lead on the administration of admissions and liaise with the Local Authority Admissions team
  • Will be responsible for all aspects of pupil data management and statistical returns e.g. Admissions, pupil census, free school meals administration etc
  • Is self-motivated and has personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and qualify standards
  • Is able to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team
  • Will use initiative to support the Headteacher, senior leadership team and other school staff
  • Will lead on a range of communication methods e.g. texting, e-mails, parent mail software
