Monday 23rd March 2020
Hello Reception Children and Families,
Welcome to our class page. I hope you are well.
I would like to invite you to collect Home Learning Packs from the school office. You will find a lot of fun stuff to do there: Phonics, Reading, Writing, Numbers, Shapes, Some Science about butterflies, Writing frames for ‘The Gruffalo’ or Teddy Bear Picnic, as well as ‘I Spy with My Little Eye’ Game and much more. Have fun!
Oh, I almost forgot- you will also find a blue note book which is your Home Diary. Use it to draw pictures and write about things you do while we all have to stay at home. When we all come back to school – which we are looking forward to so much – we will share our diaries and all the home Learning – so, please keep the completed work in the folders for sharing.
I am going to add things to our class page every Monday, so don’t forget to check it out!
Let’s all stay safe and be kind.

Films for Parents
Films for parents to help their child learn to read at home with Read Write Inc. Phonics are available on their website and YouTube channel.
The YouTube channel will be redesigned shortly to help parents find the films easily.
They will add a parent film to Facebook every day.
If you would like to contact your child’s teacher about their learning please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Staff will check emails during the school day (8:45-3:30) and will respond when it is possible for them to do so.
If staff themselves are unwell or looking after their own children, they may not be in a position to respond.
Despite school being closed, we are still committed to doing all we can to support you.
If you have any personal challenges or concerns about your child’s safety or well-being, please contact email@example.com (emails will be checked within school normal working hours).
